BioBridge: Innovation to Start-up

The event is designed to inspire early-career researchers and connect them with start-up founders who have translated their research ideas into successful entrepreneurial ventures. Our aim is to offer a lively space for discussion, inspiration, and networking focused on innovation and careers outside academia.

Launched in 2025, BioBridge series of events is organised by early-career researchers from Postdocs in Flames network and the Turku Bioscience Centre’s PhD-Postdoc Board at the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University. The primary target groups are doctoral researchers and postdocs, but the event is open to academics at all levels at the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University.

This time the half-day event features two sessions with dedicated networking breaks that provide opportunities for informal discussion with the speakers. Refreshments will be served throughout the day.
