Program, including lunch, and a poster session with sparkling, begins at 9 AM and ends at around 5:30 PM. The symposium is on-site only, free of charge and everybody is warmly welcome to register by Feb-26, or until fully booked. The poster session is an excellent opportunity to present and discuss your project involving single-cell and/or spatial omics. For students, presenting a poster provides one additional study credit. When registering, please provide a tentative poster title, and be prepared to give a one-slide, 30-second poster teaser during the symposium.
Single Cell and Spatial Omics Course
Time: February 24 – March 6, 2026
Place: Biomedicum 1 (Helsinki). Lectures will take place in BP15b, and the data analysis workshop in Seminar rooms 1–2. The location of the wet-lab demonstrations will be communicated to selected students.
Registration: Open until Feb 3, 2026. Students will be notified of selection by Feb 9.
Single Cell and Spatial Omics Course (DPBM-120) includes lectures and wet-lab demos of single cell and spatial omics methodologies (Feb-24 to Feb-27, 2026) in addition to one full week of data analysis workshop (March-2 to March-6), with hands-on single cell transcriptomics, spatial transcriptomics, and spatial proteomics data analysis with R and python. Please note that minor changes in the course schedule are still possible, and that DPBM students will be prioritised in student selection.
