University Researcher Teijo Pellinen is a senior scientist and a team leader of the Molecular Spatial Pathology. He has worked in the Olli Kallioniemi group since 2011. Pellinen employs multicolour imaging and machine intelligence for studying cancer tissue. He uses pioneering technology to recognize ‘fingerprints’ of various types of cancer to predict the course of the disease – and to develop more accurate treatments.
