Onsite event
in BioCity 5th floor seminar room BEAR
Prof. Anna Fejtova, Division of Molecular Psychiatry, University Hospital Erlangen, Germany
Neuronal functions of the metabolic sensor CTBP1
Host: Eleanor Coffey (elecof@utu.fi)
Prof. Fejtova’s group investigates presynaptic plasticity, studying molecular mechanisms that control the plasticity of neurotransmitter release. They are currently interested in the link between nutrition, metabolism and brain function.
Prof. Fejtova will serve as opponent for Artemis Varidaki’s defence on December 4th at 13:00 in Aurum Argentum, Henrikinkatu 2, Turku. The title of Artemis’s dissertation is “Investigation of JNK1 substrates in the regulation of neuronal architecture and receptor trafficking”. Welcome to Artemis’s defence on Thursday and to Anna’s lecture on Friday!
