Ahmed Al-Samadi is working as a Tenure track Professor of Oral Pathology (80%) in the University of Eastern Finland and as an Academy Research Fellow (20%) in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases in the University of Helsinki. His research focuses on the understanding of immunological aspects of oral carcinogenesis and on the development of models for personalized medicine to head and neck cancer. Al-Samadi has received his PhD in 2015 from the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine in the University of Helsinki and graduated in 2008 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the College of Dentistry in the University of Mosul in Iraq.
