Bioinformatics Day is Finland’s largest free bioinformatics conference, an annual event full of science and networking. It offers a wonderful opportunity to present your work in a talk or a poster and to connect with leading bioinformaticians in the field. In 2026, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event, organized by the Finnish Society for Bioinformatics in collaboration with HIIT, HiLife, and CSC.

The keynote speakers are:
Himel Mallick from Cornell University, USA
Tommi Vatanen from the University of Helsinki
Päivi Onkamo from the University of Turku

There will also be outstanding talks selected from abstracts, many inspiring posters, countless awesome people, delicious free food, and perfectly roasted coffee. After the main event, the speakers and poster presenters are invited to continue the celebrations at the rooftop networking event.
