Inside Industry InFLAMES lecture series lectureby Lauri Paasonen from UPM Biomedicals, who will be giving a talk about his work and career. The lecture will be on February 28 at 2 pm in BioCity Ministeri lecture room. Coffee, tea and pulla will be served on-site.

About Lauri:

Lauri Paasonen is an application scientist in UPM Biomedicals, Helsinki, Finland focusing on in vitro 3D cell culture product and application development. He has a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Helsinki, Finland, 2010. Before joining UPM on 2014, Lauri worked as a post-doctoral researcher in drug development at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute and at the University of Helsinki.

UPM Biomedicals is the forerunner in producing high quality nanofibrillar cellulose for life science and medical applications. It is part of UPM.
