Didier Picard is a professor and a research group leader in the department of cell biology in the University of Geneva, Switzerland. His research interests lies in signal integration at the cellular level and its implications in breast cancer, and particularly in understanding the molecular mechanisms of signal transduction by ER and its crosstalk with other intra- and extracellular signals. His group studies also the Hsp90 molecular chaperone machine where they are particularly interested in determining the in vivo functions of the Hsp90 molecular chaperone complex both in mammalian cells and in the mouse, using genetic, biochemical, proteomic and pharmacological tools.
