Do you supervise MSc theses in biosciences? Join the MSc Thesis Project Expo 2026 and meet students who are eager to find their thesis projects. This expo is a networking event where research groups and bioscience MSc students from the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University can meet and discuss possible MSc thesis topics.

Register your research group at latest 22 November 2026:
https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/B8E53C50F7F60E2A

This is a great opportunity to increase your group’s visibility among MSc students, network with potential thesis workers and recruit the most motivated students to join your team!

The event is organized as a poster exhibition, only one A0 vertical poster per PI. Students can get to know your project(s) and can network with a representative of your group in the event. In order to help the networking and to lower the barrier for discussions it might be a good idea to have your early-career researchers presenting your group. Also, please note that someone should be standing by the poster the whole two hours in case the students would like to get to know your group. There is place for the first 50 research groups and this expo replaces the previous research group presentation events.

Information about the participating research groups will be available before and after the event in a Moodle page (https://moodle.utu.fi/course/view.php?id=33658) to help students to find the contact details. In the Notice Board (https://moodle.utu.fi/mod/forum/view.php?id=2048845) of the same Moodle page all research groups (even the ones who won’t participate to the expo) can continuously post information about their research and promote available positions throughout the year.

The event will be promoted to both domestic and international MSc students from the Faculty of Medicine (UTU), Faculty of Science and Engineering (ÅAU), the Departments of Life Technologies and Biology (UTU), but also other students are welcome to join.
