Doctoral researcher position at Westermarck laboratory
The Westermarck Laboratory at Turku Bioscience Centre is accepting applications for a doctoral researcher (PhD) position.
The project investigates the role of NOCIVA, a splicing variant of the oncoprotein CIP2A, in triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), with a focus on its regulation, functional significance, and potential as a biomarker and therapy target.
Candidates should have:
- An MSc degree in biosciences or a related field
- Experience in experimental cancer research
- Good communication and teamwork skills
The position is funded until April 2030, with a starting salary of ~2500–2600 €/month and full Finnish university employment benefits.
