SATY ry also acts as Finland’s representative within the European Atherosclerosis Society. More information, including application for membership, is available on the SATY website.

The annual conference of the SATY 2026 will be organized at the Alhopuro Hall, Medisiina D, University of Turku. The meeting will start at noon on Thursday June 11th and end on Friday June 12th at 16:15.

The theme of the conference is ’From cellular mechanisms to early prevention and detection of atherosclerosis throughout the life-course’.

The SATY annual conference represents a broad spectrum of basic, translational, and clinical research ranging from cellular metabolism to life-course prevention and detection of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. You can shape the final program by submitting an abstract. Oral and poster presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts, providing opportunities for researchers at all career stages, including early-career researchers.
