Kaisa Rautaniemi (Advanced Imaging Core) & Mathew Nickel Maunu (Flow Cytometry Core)
Career at the core of facilitating science

Kaisa supports researchers in their light microscopy needs in Advanced Imaging Core in Turku Bioscience Center. She completed a PhD (tech) in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Tampere University. Before joining AIC, Kaisa focused on time-resolved fluorescence microscopy and spectroscopy.

Mathew has a PhD from the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands with previous experience in working as an engineering consultant. Currently he is a project engineer at the Turku Bioscience Flow Cytometry Core, training people in flow cytometric experimentation and analysis.
