Janne Leivo, Univeristy of Turku
From postdoc to PI and Research to Business

Janne Leivo, (PhD, adj. prof.), senior researcher fellow and InFLAMES Group leader at the Department of Life Technologies and FICAN West Cancer Centre. His group bridges novel biomarker concepts, extracellular vesicle analytics, and advanced immunoassay technologies to enable more sensitive and specific diagnostics. Recent translational focus is on a Business Finland R2B project (ICDx), which advances next-generation immunocomplex-based diagnostic technologies aimed at unmet clinical and commercial needs in hormone testing.
