Join us for an inspiring seminar by Prof. Mattias Belting. Prof. Belting heads the Tumor Microenvironment group at the Medical Faculty of Lund University and serves as Senior Consultant of Neuro-Oncology at Skåne University Hospital. His research focuses on metabolic adaptation in the tumor microenvironment and how adaptive mechanisms can be harnessed for the development of new therapies in brain cancer. His lab has developed novel TS-MAP technology for the identification of tumor surface antigens as targets for antibody and CAR-T cell-based therapies. Currently, his team is developing an antibody–drug conjugate for clinical application in brain tumors. In addition to his research, Prof. Belting is subspecialized in neuro-oncology, coordinating multidisciplinary treatment decisions and enrolling brain tumor patients into clinical trials.
