From imaging Nobel to AI future

On 4th September, Professor Stefan Hell is visiting Turku and we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of his Nobel Prize award for super-resolution microscopy.

On that day, four prominent organisations in the imaging field, Euro-BioImaging, Turku BioImaging, InFLAMES Flagship and Faculty of Medicine, University of Turku will organise a special trilingual event for our scientific community as well as for the general public.

Come to the Visitor Centre Joki in BioCity to learn about the successful past and bright future of imaging in Turku. You will get a chance to enjoy:

1) Multisensorial art exhibition exploring the beauty of imaging

2) Inspiring talks by world-class imaging researchers

3) Networking over coffee and cake in the afternoon and more refreshments in the evening hours plus a taste of musical performance

No registration is needed, the event is free and open to the general public. Save the date, spread the word and bring your family and friends with you. Everyone is welcome!
