Students from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree Programme on the Engineering of Data Intensive Software Systems (EDISS) at Åbo Akademi University will present the results of their one-year-long research projects. Everyone are welcome to attend the event and interact with the students on the 3rd floor of the building Agora, Turku.

The event is organized as a student project fair, where each team will have a space to present live their solutions and approaches. All projects contain an AI (Artificial Intelligence) or ML (Machine Learning) based solution applied to a variety of application domains:

• Unveiling the Future of Parkinson’s Detection
• Apnea Detection in Premature Infants
• Developing a Fundamental Understanding of Explainable Artificial Intelligence using Texture Analysis in Medical Images
• Automatic Atrial Arrhythmia Detection from a Single Lead Electrocardiogram
• Resource allocation in Critical Adaptive Distributed Embedded Systems with Reinforcement Learning
• Automating Gearbox Sound Anomaly Detection
