  X\n\nA recent report from the Finnish Research Impact Foundation has sugg
 ested that the Social Sciences and Humanities (SHAPE) subjects have a grea
 t deal of unfulfilled potential for working with partners outside the high
 er education sector.\n\nMeanwhile\, Turku Institute for Advanced Studies (
 TIAS) has secured funding from the European Commission (MSCA COFUND) for a
  programme dedicated to intersectoral working for the SHAPE subjects. Titl
 ed the Turku Intersectoral Excellence Scheme (TIES)\, the programme began 
 with eight Fellows in September 2023. TIAS is now proud to present its fir
 st Workshop on Intersectoral Working.\n\nOur keynote speaker will be Auror

 e report State of industry-academia collaboration in humanities\, arts and
  social sciences. Our panelists will include the designers of and particip
