 gs to everyone -project!\n\nInvolving members of the public in research is
  an emerging practice increasingly required by research funders and scient
 ific journals. Public involvement means conducting research with or by mem
 bers of the public rather than to\, about\, or for them. This approach can
  be referred to as e.g. co-creation\, expert-by-experience activities\, or
  citizen science.\n\nLaunched in autumn 2024\, the Science belongs to ever
 yone! project was initiated by the Department of Nursing Science and is fu
 nded by university donations until the end of 2026. The project aims to es
 tablish a university-wide citizen research panel which will enable researc
 hers to learn citizens´ values\, views and needs\, adding value to the re
 search process.\n\nBefore the detailed form and functionality of the panel
  is finalized and the recruitment of citizens begins\, the project team is
  conducting a faculty tour to gather discipline-specific ideas and require
 ments for the citizen research panel. The insights gathered during the fac
 ulty tour will guide the panel’s design\, ensuring it becomes a practica
 l and effective tool for researchers and citizens alike.\n\nWelcome to dis
