Are you running a life-science lab and looking for MSc students to join your group?\nCome to the MSc Thesis P roject Expo and get hooked up!\n \;\n\nMSc Thesis Project Expo is a ne tworking event for bioscience related MSc students and for research groups to meet and get to know one another. The event is intended for both domes tic and international bioscience related MSc degree students from both Un iversity of Turku and Åbo Akademi University\, and it replaces the prev ious research group presentation events.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to get visibility for a research group among students\, as well as to recrui t new master’s degree students!\n\n \;\nWhat\, when and where?\nMSc Thesis Project Expo: Meet the Research Groups\nWednesday 4 December 2024 a t 9.00-11.00\nin Cave auditorium\, Visitor Centre Joki\n\n \;\nWhy for students?\nIf you are looking for a lab where to do your MSc thesis work\ , come to the expo\, scout your possibilities and to talk to different res earch group members. Also\, UTU and ÅAU recruitment services will be ther e on-site to share their tips on how to write a successful CV\, how to app ly for positions and how to approach people professionally.\n\nInformation from all research groups participating to the expo is shared on a Moodle- site. No registration is needed from the students\, just show up!\n\n  \;\nWhy for research groups?\nHere students from various biosciences backg rounds will get to know your project(s) and can network with a representat ive of your group. Get visibility to your group and be sure to recruit the best students!\n\nThe event is organized as a poster exhibition\, only on e poster (vertical A0) per PI. Register to the event only if you have the possibility to take a MSc thesis student in the upcoming year.
