 siina D\n\nProfessor Tomas Mustelin\, University of Washington\, USA\nWhy 
 and how does citrullination occur in rheumatoid arthritis?\nThe neoantigen
  hypothesis of autoimmunity.\n\nProfessor Mustelin will visit Turku in the
  week 17. During his visit he will give three seminars\, all open to every
 body\, welcome! He will also be available for meetings in the afternoons o

 \, is the Division Head for Rheumatology at University of Washington. He h
 as had a stellar career both in academia and industry. After MD\, PhD at U
 niversity of Helsinki he pursued his post-doc at the Scripps Clinic in La 
 Jolla\, California and continued as PI in the La Jolla Institute for Aller
 gy and Immunology and The Burnham Institute for Medical Research for anoth
 er 15 years. He then shifted gears\, taking a “brief sabbatical” in Am
 gen and MedImmune and Gilead. During his over 10 years of industry experie
 nce\, he led the discovery of several FDA-approved drugs for autoimmune\, 
 inflammatory/respiratory diseases and immune-oncology.
