  in the week 17. During his visit he will give three seminars\, all open t
 o everybody\, welcome! He will also be available for meetings in the after

 ofessor\, is the Division Head for Rheumatology at University of Washingto
 n. He has had a stellar career both in academia and industry. After MD\, P
 hD at University of Helsinki he pursued his post-doc at the Scripps Clinic
  in La Jolla\, California and continued as PI in the La Jolla Institute fo
 r Allergy and Immunology and The Burnham Institute for Medical Research fo
 r another 15 years. He then shifted gears\, taking a “brief sabbatical
 ” in Amgen and MedImmune and Gilead. During his over 10 years of industr
 y experience\, he led the discovery of several FDA-approved drugs for auto
 immune\, inflammatory/respiratory diseases and immune-oncology.
