 öderberg-Nauclér is a Professor of Immunovirology at the University of T
 urku since 2025 and Professor of Immunology since 2022\, where she leads t
 he Immunometabolism research group within the InFLAMES Research Flagship a
 nd serves as Director of the Infection and Immunity Unit. She has also bee
 n a Professor of Medical Microbial Pathogenesis at Karolinska Institutet s
 ince 2008\, where she leads the Cellular and Molecular Immunology research
  group\, part of the Department of Microbial Pathogenesis Unit at the Depa
 rtment of Medicine\, Solna\, and is Head of the Unit.\n\nHer research focu
 ses on human cytomegalovirus (HCMV)\, immunometabolism\, inflammation\, ca
 ncer\, and antiviral therapies. She has published over 149 original resear
 ch articles\, authored 29 reviews\, six book chapters\, and holds nine pat
 ents.\n\nSöderberg-Nauclér has supervised 19 PhD theses and 32 postdocto
 ral researchers and currently supervises nine PhD students and five postdo
 cs. She has held several prestigious positions in Sweden\, including a res
 earch position in Molecular Virology at the Swedish Medical Research Counc
 il (2008–2014) and an Academic Scientist position in Medicine at the Roy
 al Swedish Academy of Sciences (2004–2008). In 2016\, she was invited by
  then U.S. Vice President Joe Biden to join the Cancer Moonshot Project's 
 expert panel.
