asaki is Professor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of
Medicine and Project Professor at Keio University’s Institute for Advanc
ed Biosciences. His research focuses on GTP energy metabolism at the inter
face of signaling\, growth control\, cancer biology\, and therapeutic deve
lopment. His laboratory discovered the mammalian GTP sensor PI5P4Kβ and g
lioma GTP metabolic rewiring that supports ribosome biogenesis and prolife
ration. His group now develops GTP-GEEKS approaches to understand and targ
et GTP-dependent biological programs. He is a 2022 Human Frontier Science
Program Program Grant awardee.\n\nToshiya Senda is a Professor\, Head of S
ynchrotron Radiation Science Division II\, and Director of the Structural
Biology Research Center at the Institute of Materials Structure Science\,
KEK. He employs multidisciplinary approaches to study histone chaperones\,
pathogenic signaling by Helicobacter pylori\, and the catalytic mechanism
s of redox enzymes. Over the past decade\, as a member of the "GTP Geeks\,
" he has focused on the structural biology aspects of GTP metabolism.\n\n&
